The general cargo terminal at Hamad Port is designed to handle all non-container cargo regardless of size and other specifications with transit sheds, cold storage and extensive paved area. In full capacity, the terminal can handle 7 millions tonnes. Machinery, steel, dry bulk, building materials, fertilizers and petrochemical products are handled in the general cargo terminal.
